I find figure drawing classes boring and academic. Since 1992, I have drawn activities with seldom-repeated movements whether at dance clubs or concerts. Documenting the moving figure in the dark in a crowd with no table or support puts me in challenging situations to produce and make marks. Some of the drawings here were completed at Bob Dylan, Red Hot Chili Peppers and White Stripes concerts. |
